Before launching my own business I was Marketing Director at Free Press (www.freepress.net) where I focused on coordinating branding, marketing, advertising and constituent recruitment efforts.
Prior to joining Free Press I was Assistant Director of a nonprofit, served as Special Projects Manager for both Grantmakers in Film + Electronic Media (www.gfem.org) and a private philanthropist, and was an Officer, Program Administration at The Pew Charitable Trusts (www.pewtrusts.org).
My best job ever was a publishing assistant position at the British Film Institute during a gap year in London.
I earned my undergraduate and graduate degrees (BA and MLA) from the University of Pennsylvania. My work focused on communications theory, freedom of expression, privacy and intellectual history.
